Our “Collection Corner” (located just inside the School door). This area is designated for items we collect year round.

Box Tops: this year your younger children will receive coloring sheets each month to help make collecting box tops more fun. We receive 10 cents for each box top.

Campbell’s Soup Label: enclosed you will find a list of all items that are collected. Please notice which part is collected. Most are UPC codes, however some are caps. We receive points for each item, these points can be redeemed for academic, athletic, and art merchandise.

Cartridges for Kids: enclosed you will find a complete list of items this company will recycle for us. It includes much more that just ink cartridges.

Juice Packs: this is new for us this year. This will include all types of “juice packs,” not boxes. We will be collecting them in the lunchroom, as well as, in classrooms (snack time). Please send in empty packs without straws. These items earn 2 cents a pack (20 cents for each box) and are recycled to make purses, backpacks, pencil bags, etc. that you can find in retail stores.

SPIRIT CARDS! These cards provide discounts at area restaurants & businesses. They expire in September of 2010, so it is quite possible that you might use more than 1 a year. This year we will do a Spirit Card Blitz from now until September 1. For each 5 cards a student sells, their name will be entered into a drawing. You will find a sample of the cards in this packet & an order form.  So stock up now! These cards are available for Eufaula, Dothan, & Columbus. (If you are interested in a Columbus Card please write it in on your order form.) Cards will still be available in the office after September 1^st.

Abundant Funds (Christmas Cards & gifts)—This is a catalog sale! We will send home catalogs & order forms September 10. Orders will be due on September 23. In the past this has been our biggest fundraiser bringing in about $4500. Our goal this year is $5000.
